WVAA is proud to offer a structured learning environment for the youth of the greater Wolcott area. We sponsor an Explorer post though the support of the Boy Scouts of America. Boys and girls are accepted into this program and are taught emergency medical skills. Once their training is complete, they are eligible to take the State Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) exam or the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) exam. These youths are then able to work on the ambulance as a vital member of our team and will have a valuable skill to assist them in whatever career they choose. Parents who are interested in signing up a child may download an application or contact Lieutenant Jay Braman by phone at 203-879-4122 Ext. 120 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
